KIM FITZELL — owner
I have been bookkeeping for eighteen years whether it be for other businesses or as a self-employed person in my own company.

Our History

Kim Fitzell opened Salmon Arm Bookkeeping at its previous location at 141 Hudson Avenue on June 1, 2007. Prior to that she worked mainly out of her home doing books as well as going to some clients' places of business. Seeing the potential and the need for having a downtown office, she moved her home based business to a store front office. It offered convenience not only to our clients but also to all of us. Our current office at 241 Alexander Street NE continues to be just as convenient.

A little bit about my own history — I was trained by a CGA in a Toyota dealership. This gave me a really good solid background for learning because I wasn't just thrown into a business to figure it out for myself. I was taught by somebody who taught me strong organizational skills (which complemented my natural tendencies), good structure and the complete flow of bookkeeping right from start to finish — from the receipt right to the ending financials that go to the accountant.

I have been bookkeeping for eighteen years now, whether it be for other businesses or as a self-employed person in my own company.

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand."
